Financial-industrial company “Molnia” is supporting TruVig Capital, a newly formed firm, in hiring for senior leadership. TruVig Capital is a private equity company co-founded in partnership with Hillhouse Capital. Hillhouse Capital is one of the investors, but it does not handle daily operations. The business focuses on delivering cryptocurrency trading strategies to clients and also provides crypto-related learning materials and market insights.
Role summary
This is a remote, full-time leadership position for a Director of Operations. The person in this role will be responsible for running the organization’s day-to-day operational engine, helping ensure that advisory services are delivered efficiently and that internal execution stays aligned with broader business goals.
What you will do
- Build, refine, and standardize operating processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Oversee budgets, spending discipline, and allocation of people and other resources.
- Monitor performance metrics and use them to guide operational decisions.
- Lead and support teams across functions while keeping projects moving on schedule.
- Promote ownership, accountability, and ongoing process improvement across the business.
- Work closely with senior leaders to strengthen client service standards and internal controls.
- Introduce and maintain operational practices that support scale and quality delivery.
Qualifications and experience
- Strong background in operations leadership, including workflow design, process improvement, and application of operational best practices.
- Ability to analyze business, financial, and operational data and turn it into useful insights for decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop teams, including distributed or remote groups.
- Hands-on experience with budgeting, cost control, and resource planning in a professional services or financial-industrial setting.
- Strong focus on customer service and maintaining productive client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is required; an MBA, master’s degree, or relevant certifications are beneficial.
- Prior leadership experience in operations, ideally in financial, consulting, or industrial organizations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
