Job description

Role overview

The Director of Administration is responsible for leading all administration activities across the group, with a focus on keeping a workforce of more than 50,000 employees fully supported. The position is intended for someone with strong construction-sector experience who can manage large facilities, regulatory obligations, and support systems that keep operations ready and projects moving without delay.

This role reports directly to the Group CEO.

Core responsibilities

  • Manage shared administrative services such as facilities, transport, insurance, and the purchase or lease of camps, yards, land, and office spaces.
  • Oversee labour housing, camp operations, employee welfare initiatives, and retention programmes.
  • Lead PRO activities, including visa processing, labour documentation, and adherence to government regulations.
  • Create and improve administrative policies, governance structures, and KPIs that support efficiency and cost control.
  • Track attendance, labour movement, and occupancy levels, then use those insights to support senior leaders with capacity and infrastructure planning.
  • Head a large administration team operating across multiple locations while keeping everyone aligned with group strategy.
