Role overview
Farmacy Beauty is hiring a Director of Growth Marketing on a consultant basis to cover parental leave for an estimated six-month period. The position is based in New York, NY and focuses on directing paid media strategy and execution across direct-to-consumer, Amazon, TikTok Shops, and priority retail partners such as Sephora and Ulta.
What you will do
- Set the direction for paid media across major channels, including Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, Snapchat, and similar platforms, with the goal of attracting new customers and increasing revenue.
- Oversee agency partners such as Lunar Solar and FrontRow to keep campaigns aligned with objectives, high-quality, and cost-effective.
- Coordinate with platform partners across Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, Snapchat, and other relevant ecosystems.
- Manage the full paid media budget and forecasting process, including accruals, monthly reporting, and re-forecasting in collaboration with Finance.
- Work with Creative and Influencer teams to shape briefs and close the loop on creative performance.
- Use performance data and customer insights, including tools like Data Culture and Google Analytics, to guide decisions and improve results.
- Identify and test new growth opportunities through emerging channels and audience strategies.
- Partner with Brand, Ecommerce, Creative, and Analytics stakeholders to align priorities and performance targets.
- Deliver campaign learnings, recommendations, and business impact updates to executive leadership.
Compensation
The monthly compensation range for this contract assignment is $9,000 to $11,000.
Additional information
This role is intended as parental leave coverage for approximately 6 months. The work arrangement is onsite in New York, NY. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners, and it involves balancing strategy, execution, and optimization in a fast-moving environment.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in growth, performance, or digital marketing, preferably within DTC, retail, or consumer-focused brands.
- A strong data-led mindset with a habit of testing, learning, and improving campaigns based on results.
- Demonstrated success running large-scale paid media programs and improving key business metrics such as ROAS, CPA, and CAC.
- Prior experience managing agencies and collaborating across internal functions.
- Comfort using performance and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Data Culture, Meta Ads Manager, and TikTok Ads Manager.
- Ability to think strategically while also executing and refining plans in a changing environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, especially when sharing performance updates with senior stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of consumer behavior in digital channels and how to scale full-funnel media programs.
- Experience working within privacy-compliant and regulated media environments.
