Job description

Role overview

We are seeking a creative and commercially aware Digital Marketing & Campaigns Specialist to support ticket sales and audience growth for a portfolio of entertainment experiences in Malaga, Western Australia. This position runs on a four-day working week, Monday to Thursday, and focuses on marketing events, attractions and ticketed experiences that attract large audiences.

The role is suited to someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You will help shape campaign ideas, create content, manage paid and organic channels, and continuously look for ways to improve performance and conversions.

About the business

The organisation develops, markets and operates entertainment experiences, including large family events, attractions and show experiences that welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Its portfolio includes Western Australia’s largest travelling Ferris Wheel, along with events, rides and other entertainment activations.

It is also a significant name in the Australian showbag market, acting as the exclusive national distributor of Bertie Beetle and appearing at major Royal Shows across Australia. The team works across events, attractions, digital campaigns, content production and family entertainment brands, so the environment is varied and fast-moving.

What the role involves

Your main objective will be to increase attendance and ticket sales. You will work with management, designers, videographers and content creators to build campaigns that stand out, reach the right audience and produce measurable results. The position requires someone who can contribute original ideas, spot opportunities early and remain on top of changing digital trends.

This is a practical, hands-on marketing role where creativity and commercial focus are equally important. The expectation is that you will not only deliver campaigns, but also help influence the strategy behind them.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and deliver digital campaigns aimed at lifting ticket sales and event attendance
  • Run and fine-tune Meta advertising activity
  • Create email marketing campaigns and customer journey flows
  • Produce social media content for several platforms
  • Build marketing visuals and creatives in Canva
  • Work with videographers, photographers and designers to develop strong-performing assets
  • Provide briefs to creative teams and contribute campaign concepts and content ideas
  • Draft persuasive ad copy, EDMs, website text and social posts
  • Track campaign outcomes and improve performance for conversions
  • Update website content and landing pages
  • Review results and prepare performance reports
  • Monitor new trends, tools and opportunities that can improve results

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with experience in digital marketing, campaign delivery or performance marketing, along with a solid grasp of paid social advertising and Meta Ads Manager. Strong Canva capability is essential, and the ideal person will also have excellent writing skills, sharp attention to detail and a strong sense of what works on social media.

You should be comfortable managing multiple deadlines and projects, working across creative teams, and understanding consumer behaviour and digital customer journeys. A proactive, problem-solving approach is important, as is the ability to identify and act on emerging content and marketing opportunities.

Ideal candidate profile

The best fit for this role will be someone who keeps a close eye on brands, notices trends early and brings fresh thinking into every campaign. You should understand what makes strong creative, what drives engagement and what ultimately motivates people to buy tickets. Rather than simply executing plans, you will help shape them and continuously look for ways to improve results.

Bonus experience

  • Event marketing experience
  • Marketing for entertainment, attractions or tourism businesses
  • Work with ticketing platforms or event sales campaigns
  • Exposure to email marketing tools and platforms
  • Photography or videography knowledge
  • Experience using content management systems for websites

Why join

  • A four-day work week from Monday to Thursday
  • Exposure to exciting events, attractions and entertainment experiences
  • Visible impact of your work on ticket sales and attendance
  • A collaborative and creative team environment
  • A varied workload with different projects every day
  • Opportunities to grow within an ambitious and fast-moving business

Application requirements

Applicants are asked to submit a resume, a short cover letter explaining their fit for the role, and examples of work such as Canva designs, social content, ad creatives or campaigns they have personally created.

Additional information

This position is based in Malaga, Western Australia and is full-time. The role follows a Monday to Thursday work pattern, which makes it a four-day week arrangement. No salary, opening count or start date was specified in the source details.

How to succeed in this role

Success in this position depends on combining creativity, strategy and execution. The work is centred on growing events and attractions, improving campaign performance and helping more people attend the experiences being promoted.
