Funky Junque has spent the last 25 years building a leading presence in fashion accessories across Amazon and other online marketplaces. The brand is recognized for trend-forward hats, beanies, scarves, and similar products for women, men, babies, and children, all offered at accessible prices. It also holds the largest share of women’s baseball caps on Amazon and outsells major names such as Adidas and Nike. The company is making strong investments in next-generation creative, including generative-AI design, dynamic video, and data-led imagery.
Role Overview
The Digital Graphic Designer will help define Funky Junque’s digital visual identity. Working closely with leadership, this person will turn marketing and business goals into designs that are clear, persuasive, and emotionally resonant. The role offers exposure to multiple parts of a fast-moving fashion e-commerce business.
Key Responsibilities
- Create rough concepts, refine them into polished creative options, and present solutions aligned with project goals.
- Build and deliver brand-consistent digital assets using Photoshop, Canva, and AI tools for Amazon storefronts, product pages, A+ content, and advertising campaigns.
- Produce creative for social media ads, infographics, and other multi-platform digital placements.
- Partner with the team on new product ideation, including sketching and prototyping.
- Generate concepts independently while also collaborating with design leadership when needed.
- Manage several assignments at once and organize priorities effectively.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree and/or a minor in Graphic Design, or a degree in Marketing or Advertising paired with strong graphic design experience.
- 0 to 2 years of professional experience.
- Practical experience with AI-driven design workflows such as prompt crafting, generative fill, and AI-assisted retouching.
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, along with Canva.
- Working familiarity with short-form video tools such as Premiere or CapCut.
- Interest in fashion and in shopping for apparel online and through social media.
- High attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to perform well in a deadline-heavy environment.
- Willingness to adapt to changing needs and take on additional responsibilities as required.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Background in e-commerce environments such as Amazon, direct-to-consumer, or wholesale.
- Product design capability.
- Basic skills in Excel and Word.
Work Arrangement
This is a primarily onsite role at the company’s headquarters in Northbrook, Illinois. After six months of employment, employees who live more than 30 minutes away from the office may work from home one day per week; after one year, that flexibility may expand to two days per week.
Compensation and Benefits
- Full-time position.
- Annual base salary range: $35,000 to $50,000, depending on skills and experience.
