Job description

Company overview

IGS Group is a niche technology and digital marketing business that supports many well-known building product manufacturers in Australia, New Zealand, and overseas. Using the BIMcontent.com platform and other digital solutions, the company helps manufacturers make their products easier for architects, designers, and engineers to find, assess, and specify. Its work is applied to live building projects globally.

The business sits at the crossroads of technology, marketing, and the built environment. Its team brings together digital marketing, web and software development, BIM content creation for buildings, and customer success to deliver stronger commercial results for clients and the wider industry.

Role summary

This full-time position is based in Adelaide, South Australia, with some flexibility to work from home on selected days. The role is very hands-on and heavily centred on content development.

You will produce material across multiple formats, including social media posts, videos, presentations, EDMs, websites, case studies, and customer-facing marketing assets. The role also includes the chance to try emerging tools, work with AI-enabled workflows, and improve how content is created and delivered.

The job offers a broad mix of creative work, technology, and practical problem-solving. On a typical day, you might build social content, edit a video, prepare a presentation, support a customer initiative, and trial a new AI-based process.

You will work closely with the Managing Director and partner with colleagues in Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Project Delivery, and Product Development, giving you exposure to many parts of the business and room to keep building your skills.

No previous BIM or building-industry background is needed; the company will provide the necessary industry knowledge.

What the role requires

  • Ability to create engaging written, visual, and video content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A good sense for design, visual communication, and how content is presented.
  • Comfort with learning new software and digital tools quickly.
  • Good organisation and the ability to juggle several priorities at once.
  • Careful attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • A self-starting approach and the ability to work without close supervision.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to keep learning.
  • Professional experience creating content, marketing materials, or digital communications.
  • Familiarity with common digital marketing tools such as CMS platforms, email marketing systems, social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Exposure to campaign planning, content distribution, and basic SEO/SEM principles.

Additional experience that would help

  • Experience with website content and visual design.
  • Hands-on use of LinkedIn marketing and social media management tools.
  • Experience with Mailchimp, SendGrid, or similar EDM platforms.
  • Exposure to HubSpot or comparable CRM systems.
  • Background in architecture, design, construction, manufacturing, or technology-related industries.

Why this opportunity stands out

  • Work with respected brands across Australia, New Zealand, and internationally.
  • Be part of a role with real variety and ongoing learning opportunities.
  • Help shape how content is created, how customers are engaged, and how products and services are marketed.
  • Join a growing technology company with a strong industry reputation.
  • Benefit from a supportive team and hybrid working arrangements.
