What You’ll Do
- Contribute to the digital PR approach that supports brand reputation and drives both store and e-commerce sales.
- Develop and nurture relationships with digital media outlets to expand editorial visibility in national and regional publications for Louis Vuitton products.
- Work closely with the Paris PR team on global digital communication plans for the US and Canada.
- Keep a well-organized library of digital assets, press copy, and brand communication materials across product categories.
- Coordinate with merchandising to keep messaging aligned with seasonal buying priorities.
- Manage sample requests, tracking, and delivery for digital media shoots.
- Provide reliable administrative support to the team and handle assigned tasks with accuracy and speed.
- Support media outreach efforts, including both proactive pitching and response-based pitching.
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and project-specific digital media reports.
- Research competitor activity and help shape new digital press concepts.
- Partner with advertising, merchandising, and marketing teams to uncover high-value digital press opportunities.
- Help create and roll out digital strategies for major global and local initiatives alongside Women’s, Men’s, Corporate, and Celebrity teams.
- Pitch new products and initiatives, and identify the best timing and execution for online coverage, including priority moments such as Holiday Gift Guides.
- Increase coverage across leading online outlets, with emphasis on DMR-ranked publications.
- Build and maintain strong connections with national and regional online and digital press contacts.
- Track and analyze DMR rankings, pull monthly reports, and provide Louis Vuitton and competitor insights for internal and external presentations such as Share of Voice, Editorial Briefings, and hand-count charts.
- Manage budget-related tasks, including PR budget tracking, purchase orders, good receipts, rebills, reclasses, and invoice administration.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings more than 5 years of genuine public relations experience, preferably in a luxury fashion environment, along with solid knowledge of digital PR and marketing. Experience working in fashion media and handling outreach to national and local outlets is important. The role also calls for strong communication and relationship-building skills, plus the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. High attention to detail, excellent planning and organization, discretion with confidential information, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as Fashion GPS, are required.
