Job description

Role Overview

IIGJ-Research & Laboratories Centre is hiring Diamond Grader / Jewellery Grader professionals at the Executive, Senior Executive, and Manager levels for its Jaipur and Delhi locations. The position focuses on evaluating mounted diamonds and producing accurate grading documentation in a laboratory environment.

Experience and Profile

Applicants should have 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in diamond jewellery grading. A strong understanding of diamond grading principles is essential, and prior exposure to a gemmological laboratory will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves grading mounted diamonds in line with internationally accepted standards, as well as assessing the colour and clarity of mounted stones. The incumbent will also be responsible for preparing and verifying grading reports and certification-related data.

Documentation and Record Keeping

Accurate maintenance of laboratory records is an important part of the job. The selected candidate must keep observations, grading outcomes, and related decisions properly documented in the laboratory management system.
