Role Overview

Forbes’ Content & Design Studio is hiring a Designer for the Multiplatform Content Design team. The work combines visual design, UX thinking, and motion to create high-volume digital experiences in collaboration with teams across Forbes and with major brand partners. This is a growth-oriented opportunity for a creative professional who wants their work to be seen at scale and who values craft, experimentation, and continuous learning.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will create polished digital design work for premium content, social campaigns, pitch materials, and live events while balancing editorial quality, brand standards, and speed.

  • Develop audience-first visual concepts for digital brand experiences, including article packages, landing pages, interactive features, and video.
  • Turn client briefs and content objectives into clear design directions and own projects through final delivery.
  • Work closely with branded content editors to build cohesive experiences where storytelling and design support one another.
  • Maintain Forbes editorial quality while also following client brand requirements across several active projects at once.
  • Create social-native assets such as carousels, GIFs, motion graphics, and short-form video tailored to each platform.
  • Build social concepts that support larger campaigns and also work independently in fast-moving social environments.
  • Use audience behavior and social performance data to guide creative decisions and improve engagement.
  • Produce pre-sale mockups and concept work that helps shape proposals and support new business opportunities.
  • Help maintain and improve a library of templates and reusable assets for faster and stronger pre-sale production.
  • Design recap materials, highlight assets, and support graphics for Forbes live events.
  • Balance multiple priorities, stay organized, and deliver on deadlines without losing design quality.
  • Experiment with new tools and technologies, including AI-assisted design workflows, to improve creativity and production efficiency.
  • Participate in brainstorms, working sessions, and reviews with designers and cross-functional partners at different seniority levels.
  • Give and receive thoughtful feedback to help strengthen the team’s overall creative output.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate brings several years of digital design experience, a strong portfolio, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • At least 3 years of experience in digital or interaction design; editorial, branded content, or agency experience is a plus.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong, thoughtful design solutions.
  • Excellent visual communication with strong command of layout, hierarchy, typography, and color.
  • Experience designing for social platforms and understanding platform-specific best practices.
  • Motion design skills.
  • Comfort working on fast-turnaround, pitch-driven projects.
  • Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A flexible, practical, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for learning and growth.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is estimated at $70,000 to $80,000. Forbes notes that this range is provided in good faith and may be adjusted based on factors such as experience, education, skills, abilities, and budget considerations.

Additional Information

This role may change over time, and additional duties may be assigned as business needs evolve. Forbes also notes that some roles may be fully remote within the U.S. if aligned with business needs, while others require a specific location.
