This opportunity is for an intermediate digital designer who will help shape and evolve the brand across ecommerce, performance marketing, and CRM touchpoints. The role is centered on creating digital experiences that support engagement and conversion while keeping the brand expression consistent across channels.
Role impact
You will work with creative and digital partners to strengthen the visual quality, usability, and overall look and feel of digital channels, including web, mobile, email, and paid media. The work will support the brand’s modern digital presence and help bring its purpose to life online.
Key duties
- Apply digital design best practices and bring forward new ideas to improve Saje’s digital experiences.
- Develop polished assets such as website elements, customer emails, and paid advertising creative for campaign and always-on programs.
- Keep the visual experience aligned across ecommerce, paid media, and email channels.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners to fully understand creative needs and asset requirements.
- Build internal presentations that clearly communicate concepts and designs, gather input, secure alignment, and obtain approvals from Digital, Creative, and Marketing stakeholders.
- Ensure all presentation materials are accurate, complete, and proofread carefully.
- Bring creativity and experimentation into mood boards and concept development, adding a sense of play and innovation.
- Strengthen Saje’s visual identity through thoughtful typography, communication design, and layout.
- Balance multiple projects while staying within design requirements and timelines.
- Use problem-solving skills, a proactive voice, and an active team mindset to help improve performance through best practices and A/B testing.
- Share knowledge and learnings with teammates to support collective growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, leading creative work, and the competitive market.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate has several years of experience designing for performance-driven digital channels, either in-house or in an agency environment. A strong portfolio showing work across ecommerce, CRM, and performance marketing is essential.
You should be comfortable working within brand systems and digital platforms, with a solid grasp of user-centered design, fast prototyping, and user testing. Strong knowledge of design trends, high-end digital execution, and the use of brand across digital channels is important.
Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is required. Familiarity with newer digital trends and technology that can improve workflow efficiency is also valuable.
The company is especially interested in candidates from beauty, retail, consumer packaged goods, health, or wellness backgrounds, though this is not mandatory.
Compensation and benefits
The expected base salary range for this role is CAD 65,000 to CAD 80,000 per year, depending on location, experience, skills, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus program.
