Design Architect - Luxury Villas

Role overview

An architectural design practice in Dubai is seeking a Design Architect to contribute to the creation of exceptional private villas in the region. The studio is recognised for highly imaginative, design-focused homes for private clients, with many schemes spanning approximately 30,000 to 50,000 sq ft.

The projects are highly bespoke and meticulously resolved, with careful attention paid to concept, material selection, craftsmanship, and overall design quality. The successful candidate will collaborate with the senior design team from early concept through design development, helping translate ambitious ideas into a refined architectural package for premium residential projects.

This position is well suited to an architect who enjoys luxury residential work, brings strong creative thinking, and can turn conceptual ideas into polished architectural solutions.

Key responsibilities

The role involves supporting the design of ultra-luxury private villas, moving projects through concept design, design development, and presentation phases. You will prepare plans, elevations, sections, and 3D design studies, and contribute to high-quality design packages for private residential commissions.

You will work closely with senior designers, interior designers, and technical specialists, while also assisting with material boards, mood references, and concept presentations. A key part of the role is making sure the design stays aligned with both the client brief and the studio’s overall vision.

Candidate profile

The studio is looking for an architect with solid experience in high-end residential projects, particularly luxury villas or large private homes. You should have a strong design sensibility, a good understanding of proportion, detailing, and materials, and the ability to develop early ideas into clear architectural design documentation.

Proficiency in Revit is required, along with a practical working knowledge of SketchUp. The ideal candidate is someone who values thoughtful design and takes pride in producing carefully considered residential architecture.
