Role Overview
A1 Big Star Motors, based in London, Ontario, operates in automotive logistics and international vehicle shipping. The company manages vehicle purchasing, transport coordination, loading, and overseas shipping by liaising with customer service teams, towing and loading providers, auto auctions, and major ocean carriers such as Maersk.
The organization is seeking a dependable and ambitious Deputy Office Manager who can develop with the business over the long term. This person will help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly, guide team members, and coordinate effectively with both internal departments and outside partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily functioning of the office and keep operations organized.
- Provide guidance, training, and oversight to staff.
- Support shipping reservations and logistics-related work.
- Keep business records updated using Google Drive and other digital systems.
- Manage email correspondence and general administrative duties.
- Identify ways to streamline office processes and improve efficiency.
- Step in to maintain continuity when management is unavailable.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- Background in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding is required.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written, is necessary.
- Strong planning, coordination, and leadership abilities are important.
- Comfort using Google Drive, email, and standard office software is expected.
- The role calls for someone who can work on their own and balance several tasks at once.

Compensation
