Role Summary

As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for delivering excellent full-time early years care and education while leading a room and team to foster children's holistic development. You will ensure that curriculum planning and learning activities comply with Aistear and Siolta standards, maintaining quality and regulatory compliance. Providing mentorship and leadership to your team will be key in supporting both children's wellbeing and your team's growth. You'll also help cultivate a professional, safe, and inclusive atmosphere within your room and the centre as a whole.

What We Expect from You

• Possess at least a Level 6 qualification in childcare, with Level 7 or 8 preferred.
• Hold a Fetac Level 6 or equivalent certification in Early Childhood Care and Education.
• Have a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience working in early years settings, ideally with supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
• Demonstrate fluency in English, reliability, empathy, and strong attention to detail.

Applicants with practical experience using Aistear and Siolta frameworks and a commitment to personal and professional growth in a values-based childcare environment are especially welcomed.
