About the Opportunity

Windows of Green Africa Limited is seeking a senior executive to join its leadership team as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, this full-time onsite role is part of an ambitious effort to build an integrated platform for sustainable development across Africa.

The organization’s work spans green infrastructure, ecological restoration, smart cities, renewable energy, electric mobility, advanced technology, and innovative manufacturing. The selected leader will work closely with the CEO to turn this strategy into delivery and help position the company as a major force in green development.

Role Summary

As Deputy CEO, you will act as the CEO’s second-in-command, taking ownership of operational leadership, strategy execution, team coordination, and delivery of large-scale projects with public- and private-sector stakeholders. The role requires strong executive judgment, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary programs.

Core Responsibilities

You will oversee daily business operations while supporting the company’s broader growth agenda. The position also involves representing the CEO in key meetings and negotiations, maintaining high standards of governance, and fostering a strong leadership culture across the organization.

Projects and Stakeholder Engagement

This role includes guiding major infrastructure, environmental restoration, and urban development initiatives, as well as building relationships with governments, investors, development institutions, and other strategic partners to support business expansion and impact.

Candidate Profile

The company is looking for a seasoned executive with at least 15 years of senior leadership experience and a strong track record in large-scale infrastructure, construction, sustainability, or industrial projects. The ideal candidate should be comfortable leading complex organizations and diverse specialist teams.

A master’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Urban Planning, Infrastructure, Environmental Sciences, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field is expected. An MBA or executive qualification is considered an added advantage.

Preferred Background

Experience in one or more of the following areas will be valued: green infrastructure, smart cities, urban planning, ecological restoration, renewable energy, electric mobility, manufacturing, climate and sustainability, international project delivery, or corporate transformation.
