Overview
The Demand Planning Specialist will handle incoming business and digital demand items, evaluate their priority and feasibility, and help ensure they are planned and delivered on time in support of the organization’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, rank, and organize incoming demand requests based on business need and urgency.
- Work with internal stakeholders to collect requirements and determine whether requests are practical and achievable.
- Track demand items through each stage of the pipeline until completion.
- Assist with planning of demand, allocation of resources, and scheduling activities.
- Build reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for monitoring and decision-making.
- Follow established demand management workflows, controls, and governance requirements.
- Spot opportunities to streamline and strengthen demand management practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar discipline is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in demand planning, PMO, operations, or a closely related area is needed.
- Strong ability to analyze information, plan ahead, and stay organized.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with stakeholders.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
