Data Insights Analyst (Entry / Junior)

MOMO Coffee is seeking a junior-level Data Insights Analyst for a full-time, on-site position in Australia. This role suits someone who enjoys working with data, spotting meaningful patterns, and transforming raw information into practical business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Gather data from different business systems, then prepare it through cleaning and analysis.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visual summaries that make insights easy to understand.
• Spot trends, recurring patterns, and opportunities for action within datasets.
• Track KPIs and other important business metrics on an ongoing basis.
• Check data and reports carefully to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand their reporting and analysis requirements.
• Share findings and recommendations in a clear, practical, and business-friendly way.
• Contribute to initiatives focused on better decisions and continuous improvement through data.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and reporting principles.
• Comfort using Microsoft Excel; SQL knowledge is preferred.
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Python, R, or comparable analytical tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving ability.
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain findings clearly.
• Capability to work accurately and efficiently with large datasets.
• Preference for candidates with a degree, diploma, or training in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Economics, IT, or a related subject.
