Position Summary
McCorquodale Transfer, LLC seeks a Business Data Analyst to work full-time onsite in West Palm Beach, Florida. This role requires in-office presence Monday through Friday, with no remote option. The Data Analyst's primary responsibility is to accurately gather and enter participant data such as contact details, survey feedback, and participation records into central databases. This position transforms raw data into organized information and extracts actionable insights to support company decision-making.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter and update participant information within databases.
- Regularly verify and update outdated participant records as needed.
- Input textual and numerical data from source documents with precision.
- Organize and file physical paperwork upon electronic data entry completion.
- Support special projects requiring substantial data entry efforts.
- Develop spreadsheets to monitor critical participant data.
- Ensure timely data processing and production flow.
- Maintain data quality by checking and correcting errors, duplicates, and deficiencies.
- Manipulate and structure large datasets to uncover relevant information.
- Conduct thorough searches and investigations within data files.
- Collaborate with team members for data collection and analysis.
- Create visual representations of data including graphs and infographics.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, gaps, and draw insightful conclusions.
- Prepare presentations and reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Generate both standard and customized reports for executive and managerial review.
- Work with local West Palm leadership to pinpoint improvement opportunities.
- Operate common office equipment such as scanners, printers, and calculators.
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Product Development and CTO.
- Attend meetings to present and discuss statistical data and analyses.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields (or comparable experience) is mandatory.
- Language proficiency to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, technical documents, and governmental regulations; effective written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports and deliver information to diverse audiences.
- Strong mathematical skills including basic arithmetic operations, calculating ratios, rates, percentages, and interpreting bar graphs.
- Proficiency in personal computers, with solid skills in email, record keeping, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphic tools; knowledge of Google Workspace is preferred.
- Attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple projects by assessing priorities and developing detailed action plans.
- Critical thinking capability to logically assess various solutions and approaches.
- Analytical thinking to synthesize complex information, research and troubleshoot effectively.
- Time management skills to organize and prioritize tasks independently within set timelines.
- Strong communication skills adapted for different settings and audiences.
Physical and Work Environment
The role typically requires maintaining a stationary position for approximately 75% of working hours while using computers and office equipment. Occasional movement inside the office and travel to offsite events are necessary. The environment has a noise level ranging from low to moderate, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts. The temperature is usually controlled.
Compensation and Reporting
This is a non-exempt, full-time position with an annual salary of $50,000. The role reports directly to the Director of Product Development and Chief Technical Officer.
