Company Overview
Winch Industry GmbH is a forward-thinking company specializing in the development, distribution, and sales of technical products ranging from OEM, industrial, to private customer segments. The product range includes technical equipment such as winches, lifting devices, automotive lighting solutions, generators, and lifestyle items like roof tents and camping gear under the VICKYWOOD brand. Located in Gersthofen near Augsburg, the motivated team is seeking a full-time Data Analyst (40 hours per week) to join promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify new business opportunities, product categories, and sales channels.
- Develop and implement growth strategies on national and international levels.
- Support strategic partnerships, supplier negotiations, and expansion initiatives.
- Create business cases, profitability analyses, and economic assessments.
- Participate in projects including market entry, brand building, product range expansion, and internationalization.
- Build, maintain, and enhance data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks using tools like Excel, Power BI, and JTL Wawi/Shop data.
- Perform analyses on sales, margins, pricing, and volume to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop KPI systems to measure efficiency and performance across sales, purchasing, and logistics.
- Provide data-driven support for assortment decisions, pricing strategies, and marketing activities.
- Collaborate closely with IT, purchasing, and management to advance process digitization and automation.
- Lead and support internal optimization projects in areas like warehouse logistics, e-commerce processes, and reporting structures.
- Assist in evolving company systems and interfaces including ERP, CRM, shop systems, and BI tools.
- Derive action recommendations and present findings to management and stakeholders.
Qualification Requirements
- Completed studies in economics, business administration, business informatics, data analytics or related fields.
- Professional experience in business development, controlling, data analysis, or strategic management.
- Strong analytical skills and confident handling of large data sets.
- Proficient with Excel, Power BI, SQL, or equivalent analytic software.
- Experience with e-commerce systems such as JTL Wawi, Shopware, Amazon, or eBay is advantageous.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, structured working style, and high initiative.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Fluent in German and English languages.
