Team overview
The Regional BI & Planning Data Analytics team focuses on building reliable, end-to-end data capabilities for the wider business. In addition to producing analysis, the team develops scalable data models, forecasting approaches, and insights powered by data science to improve planning, sharpen decisions, and support stronger business outcomes.
The team works closely with finance, business, product, and engineering partners to create solid data foundations and deliver solutions that are practical, scalable, and aligned with real operational needs. Its work ranges from ongoing performance tracking to deeper strategic analysis, helping the organisation gain clearer visibility, make faster decisions, and plan for sustainable growth.
What you will do
- Gather, process, and analyse data using SQL and Python.
- Streamline data collection and aggregation workflows to support reporting dashboards.
- Work with data engineers, product managers, and operations teams to provide statistics and business data that support actionable insights.
- Contribute to analytical modelling tasks when needed to improve business understanding.
What we are looking for
- A current undergraduate or postgraduate student, ideally majoring in Data Science and Analytics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle large datasets carefully.
- Comfort with at least one programming or scripting language, with Python or Spark preferred.
- Prior experience in data analysis and data collection.
- Preference for candidates available for full-time internship arrangements.
