Role Overview

As part of the Data Science team, the Data Analyst will focus on addressing complex problems by developing practical and scalable data solutions in collaboration with product teams. The key responsibility is to support regulatory reporting by handling intricate data structures tailored to precise specifications, ensuring solutions are effective and dependable.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Finance team on financial planning, treasury tasks, strategic initiatives, and regulatory compliance reporting.
• Develop and refine data models and ETL workflows to fulfill regulatory reporting requirements.
• Maintain and enhance the reporting infrastructure to guarantee accuracy, adherence to regulations, and superior data quality.
• Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into streamlined data solutions.
• Understand organizational processes through data analysis to improve operations.
• Monitor data reliability vigilantly with a high attention to detail.
• Design essential metrics that evaluate multiple facets of company performance.
• Create and update aggregated data views and tables to make querying more efficient.
• Build and manage dashboards that visualize metrics and insights effectively.
• Work closely with Regulatory Reporting Managers to grasp reporting logic and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 4 years experience working with SQL and complex data environments.
• Proven track record in analytical roles delivering tangible solutions.
• Strong collaboration capabilities to partner with regulatory teams and cross-functional groups.
• Educational background in a quantitative or related discipline.
• Keen attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.
• Experience adapting data to rigorous regulatory standards.
• Robust knowledge of mathematics and statistics.
• Proactive attitude with a sense of urgency.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in finance, banking, or accounting sectors.
• Advanced degree in STEM fields.
• Additional programming skills such as Java, Scala, or C++.
• Participation in competitive academic contests related to physics, mathematics, economics, or programming.
