Data Analyst (Excel)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst proficient in Microsoft Excel to join on a contract basis. The position offers flexible commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week and is fully remote. Compensation is between $40 and $55 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed data analyses utilizing Excel to generate insights that inform business decisions.
• Work closely with various stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into comprehensive analyses.
• Ensure datasets are accurate and reliable by cleaning, validating, and reviewing data meticulously.
• Create clear and effective reports and visual representations to deliver insights to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Detect and highlight patterns, outliers, and potential opportunities within complex datasets to support strategic projects.
• Maintain thorough documentation of analysis methods, outcomes, and recommended actions.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience executing business-related data analysis primarily using Microsoft Excel.
• Strong focus on precision and thoroughness in data handling and reporting processes.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present analytical results, both written and verbal.
• Proven collaborative ability to work with cross-functional teams aiming for business improvements.
