Job Overview

Cumberland Christian School is looking for a thorough and insightful Data Analyst to join their team full-time on campus in Vineland, New Jersey. Responsibilities

  • Gather, interpret, and analyse data from multiple systems including student information databases, academic tests, and financial records.
  • Create and sustain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to monitor key performance metrics for leadership and faculty members.
  • Detect, analyse, and explain trends or patterns within complex datasets to deliver clear actionable recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with academic and administrative units to comprehend their data requirements and assist in achieving their goals.
  • Maintain data accuracy and quality through regular checks and cleansing processes.
  • Compile detailed reports and present results effectively to stakeholders in an accessible manner.
  • Contribute data-driven advice to support strategic planning for school enhancement and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst or comparable analytical position.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or similar disciplines.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities to manage, organise, analyse, and communicate extensive information accurately.
  • Skilled in analysis tools such as SQL, Microsoft Excel, and visualisation platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills tailored to presenting complex data to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating efficiently within teams.
  • Prior experience in the education sector or non-profit organizations is an advantage.
  • Alignment with and respect for the Christian educational philosophy and values of the institution.
