Role overview

GRÜN smiles is looking for an English-speaking customer support agent based in North Macedonia to assist people interested in booking appointments with partner hearing care specialists. The position is remote and can be arranged as either full-time or part-time.

The work is centered on helping customers take the next step toward better hearing and a better quality of life. You will answer questions, explain the booking process, and arrange suitable appointments with partner stores. The role is service-focused, with an emphasis on empathy, patience, and high-quality communication.

This is not a sales position. There is no cold calling, no lead generation, no acquisition work, and no product support. Instead, you will contribute to a meaningful customer service project where many customers appreciate the assistance they receive.

Key duties

  • Provide support to customers by phone and/or in written form.
  • Explain the steps involved in booking a hearing care appointment.
  • Arrange appointments with partner stores.
  • Communicate in a clear, polite, and professional manner.
  • Record customer conversations and case details accurately in internal systems.
  • Collaborate with teammates to deliver a strong customer experience.
  • Handle each interaction with empathy, especially when extra patience or clarity is needed.

Requirements

The company is seeking someone with excellent spoken and written English, along with a confident, friendly communication style. Strong empathy, patience, and a customer-first mindset are essential.

You should be dependable, organized, comfortable using digital tools and customer support platforms, and able to work independently from home. Prior experience in customer service, call centres, appointment scheduling, or a similar field is useful, but it is not mandatory.

Because the customers may have hearing difficulties, clear and accessible communication is especially important in this role.
