About the Role

Position Overview

The opening is for a Customer Success Engineer in India. This is a remote contract opportunity with compensation in the range of $20,000 to $35,000 per year.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work through talent-reported problems from start to finish by reproducing issues, finding the underlying cause, and distinguishing between interface friction, AI model edge cases, and true system defects.
  • Use telemetry, logs, network analysis, and database queries to troubleshoot behavior across the AI and SaaS product stack.
  • Make careful triage decisions: route genuine engineering problems to the right teams and solve other cases through configuration updates, prompt improvements, or straightforward user guidance.
  • Identify recurring patterns and product-level risks, then communicate them to engineering and product leadership.
  • Build and maintain documentation and runbooks that help reduce repeated issues and speed up resolution.
  • Handle customer communication in a clear, professional, and empathetic manner.

What We’re Looking For

Candidates should be able to debug web applications and either hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline from a strong institution, or have previous experience at a fast-growing technology startup. Experience with modern web development stacks such as React, Node, Flask, or Next.js is valuable, as is 2 to 5 years of customer support experience on similar web applications.

Applicants should also be comfortable working with AI systems, including investigating how AI tools behave through fine-tuning, prompt chains, chain-of-thought analysis, or agent-building workflows. A solid understanding of model outputs, hallucinations, failure modes, and feedback loops is important.

Preferred Knowledge

Experience with AI APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic, or familiarity with agent frameworks like LangChain or AutoGPT, will be an added advantage.
