Role overview
This position is based in one of the approved office locations for the role. It focuses on helping shape retail e-commerce growth by improving vendor partnerships, increasing annual revenue, and strengthening customer experiences at a large-scale online marketplace.
As a Customer Success Manager supporting strategic retail vendors, you will work to improve vendor satisfaction, drive business results, and use data-led insights to guide decisions. The role calls for close collaboration, practical execution, and continuous improvement that benefits both vendors and customers.
Key responsibilities
- Work with vendors to build and carry out business plans spanning marketing, merchandising, and supply chain activities.
- Review performance data and turn findings into clear recommendations that support growth and better customer outcomes.
- Serve as the main contact for vendor needs while developing strong, productive working relationships.
- Help vendors navigate tools, policies, and growth opportunities while maintaining smooth operations.
- Support process enhancement and innovation efforts that improve outcomes across the organization.
Typical day
- Coordinate with internal teams to address vendor questions and put solutions into action.
- Study performance metrics to uncover areas for expansion and improvement.
- Prepare and share strategic suggestions with vendors.
- Take part in team meetings and knowledge-sharing discussions.
- Handle several projects at once while keeping service quality high.

Basic qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience organizing priorities, schedules, timelines, and deadlines.
- At least 3 years of experience working with vendors or clients in account management, vendor management, or related areas such as buying, planning, or merchandising.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis and presentation tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in retail, e-commerce, or technology.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to work with data visualization tools.
- Experience managing relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- Exposure to process improvement or operational excellence work.

Compensation includes base pay along with sign-on payments and restricted stock units. Final pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and location. Location-based salary ranges
- Santa Monica, CA: USD 70,400 to 101,800 per year.
- New York, NY: USD 66,300 to 112,000 per year.
- Austin, TX: USD 58,200 to 101,800 per year.
- Arlington, VA: USD 58,200 to 101,800 per year.
- Seattle, WA: USD 80,200 to 101,800 per year.
