- Support branch sales through follow-up calls, quotations, and customer check-ins.
- Look for opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and suggest related products.
- Follow up on quotes, missed sales, lapsed customers, and open enquiries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade and commercial clients.
- Help maintain stock accuracy, inventory control, and general branch activity.
- Work with the branch team to achieve strong service, sales, and margin results.

- Interest in automotive batteries, vehicles, electrical products, or practical trade-based solutions.
- Clear communication skills and confidence when dealing with customers in person and over the phone.
- Basic computer knowledge, with Excel skills considered an advantage.
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to following processes.
- A proactive sales mindset with confidence in quote follow-up, customer calling, and opportunity spotting.
- Ability to perform well in a busy environment while maintaining accuracy.
- A collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
- A full New Zealand driver’s licence.
- Battery knowledge is helpful but not mandatory; training can be provided for the technical aspects if you bring the right attitude and willingness to learn.
