Role summary

This is a full-time customer service role for someone who enjoys working with car parts, has strong service skills, and holds a full New Zealand driver licence. The position runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with alternate Saturday mornings.

The role suits a person who can deliver excellent support to trade customers while also helping them identify the right parts and solutions for the job.

Key duties

• Assist trade customers at the counter and by phone
• Guide customers toward the correct vehicle parts and related solutions
• Pick, pack, and process orders with accuracy
• Look for chances to suggest additional or complementary products
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with regular customers

What you need

• Previous customer service experience, preferably in automotive or trade-related settings
• Comfort using computers; basic Excel knowledge is considered helpful
• Strong interest in cars or automotive parts
• Clear communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
• Ability to stay accurate while working in a busy environment
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the wider team
