Overview

MedHealth is looking for an experienced customer service professional to join its expanding team as a Customer Service Consultant in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of allocated customers and maintain strong ongoing relationships.
  • Provide a consistently high standard of service so clients can access Medilaw Independent Medical Exams and other Medilaw offerings based on their needs.
  • Respond to client calls promptly and handle appointment bookings and related queries in accordance with Medilaw processes.
  • Support key stakeholders through effective customer care and client-facing communication.
  • Introduce and promote new products and services to existing assigned clients.

Required Experience and Skills

To be considered successful, applicants should bring at least 2 years of experience in an inbound or outbound, phone-based customer service position, ideally within the medical or insurance sector. Strong organisational ability and the capacity to manage multiple tasks at once are essential, along with a sharp eye for detail and a proactive, solution-focused approach. Candidates should also have solid Office 365 skills, including Word and Excel, good numeracy, accurate data entry and typing ability, and strong database administration skills. The role also requires the ability to contribute effectively as part of a team. Experience with medical terminology, workers compensation processes and legislation, or the life insurance industry would be an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
