Role overview
Mitre10 MEGA Napier is seeking a confident and quick-on-the-feet team member to join the check-out and customer services area. This role plays a key part in giving shoppers a smooth experience from arrival through to departure.
The store is part of a well-known New Zealand-owned and operated home improvement network, and the Napier branch is described as a busy, energetic environment that continues to expand. The focus is on offering quality products, strong value, and practical advice so customers can complete their DIY projects with confidence.
Key duties
- Respond to customer and team questions in person and by phone.
- Assist with GE Finance enquiries.
- Help customers find products in store.
- Process checkout transactions and support sales at the register.
- Handle unexpected situations calmly and professionally.

Additional information
This position is roster-based and requires alternate weekend work, including both Saturday and Sunday on those weekends.
Retail or other rostered work experience will be considered an advantage.
