Job description
Role overview
This position focuses on the safe, punctual loading, transport, and unloading of grocery orders so deliveries arrive within agreed timeframes. A key part of the job is delivering excellent service while making sure customers’ property is never damaged. The role also involves using sign-on-glass technology for every delivery, taking responsibility for safety, health and environment duties in line with policy, and completing pre-shift vehicle checks while keeping the vehicle clean inside and out.
