Role overview

B&Q Waterford is hiring a TradePoint Customer Advisor to support trade members and help them find the right products and services. The role is based in-store and involves building strong customer relationships, understanding business needs, and delivering a helpful, knowledgeable experience at the TradePoint counter.

This is a full-time position of 36.75 hours per week on a permanent contract. Working shifts can fall any day from Monday to Sunday, between 7:00am and 10:00pm. The pay is based on an hourly rate of €15.45, with Sunday hours paid at €18.75 per hour.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as a key contact at the TradePoint counter for trade customers.
  • Speak with members to understand their business and what they need.
  • Recommend suitable products and services based on customer conversations.
  • Help trade members get good value through promotions and the trade loyalty scheme.
  • Work closely with colleagues and contribute as a team player.
  • Adapt your approach to different customers and situations.
  • Continue developing your skills through training and learning from others.
