About the Role
TEDx MET Nashik is seeking a full-time, on-site Curation Committee Member in Nashik, Maharashtra. The role is focused on shaping the content direction of upcoming TEDx events by finding strong speaker prospects, exploring event themes, and helping bring together talks that reflect the TEDx spirit of ideas worth sharing.
As part of the curation team, you will work closely with other committee members to develop memorable event experiences, support speaker selection, and help speakers sharpen their ideas for presentation in line with TED standards.
What You'll Do
- Identify, research, and shortlist potential speakers for future TEDx MET Nashik events.
- Explore and brainstorm event themes that fit the goals and tone of the event.
- Build and refine speaker lists based on relevance, quality, and alignment with TED-style content.
- Coordinate with selected speakers to help strengthen and polish their ideas.
- Review talks and materials to ensure they meet TED’s standards and expectations.
- Collaborate with the wider team to deliver content that is engaging, impactful, and well organized.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to research thoroughly and analyze topics or individuals to spot strong speaking candidates.
- Good communication, writing, and editing abilities for outreach, proposals, and content refinement.
- Creative mindset with a strong sense of storytelling and theme development.
- Comfort working with a team and contributing to event planning or coordination.
- Strong organizational habits, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines.
- Genuine interest in the TEDx mission and in producing meaningful, high-quality events.
- Background in public speaking, event planning, or content curation will be an added advantage.
