Role Overview

This position is for a CRM Functional Tester working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 in an airline environment. The role sits between business stakeholders and technical teams to confirm that the CRM platform supports real-world business processes for sales, marketing, and service users while remaining stable and accurate.

What You Will Do

  • Study business requirement documents and functional specifications to understand how the CRM is expected to work.
  • Spot unusual scenarios and gaps that could cause business processes to fail.
  • Create detailed test plans and test cases aligned to business requirements and traceability.
  • Check CRM features such as lead handling, opportunity tracking, case management, and campaign automation.
  • Validate full customer journeys from lead capture through sale and after-sales support.
  • Confirm that workflow automations, such as notifications triggered by deal closures, behave as intended.
  • Verify that data is transferred correctly from external sources like web forms and ERP systems without duplication or corruption.
  • Test role-based access controls so users can only view or modify data permitted by their role.
  • Review dashboards and analytics reports to ensure they display accurate, up-to-date information.
  • Log, follow up, and manage defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
  • Work with developers to explain the business impact of issues found during testing.
  • Run regression checks after updates or hotfixes to make sure existing functions continue to work.
  • Support user acceptance testing by preparing test data and helping business users during validation.
  • Explain technical problems in clear business language for stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of overall experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in CRM testing environments.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM is required.
  • Prior experience in the airline domain is mandatory.
  • Ability to review BRD and FSD documents and translate them into test coverage.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Selenium, Postman, Zephyr, or similar testing tools.
  • Working knowledge of basic SQL for checking CRM data.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and the SDLC.
  • Analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to connect business needs with technical execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification or Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals is preferred.

Additional Information

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time onsite position.

Industry focus: Airline domain expertise is a strict requirement for this role.
