Role Overview

As a Crewmember, you will be central to the guests' experience starting with breakfast service. Your main responsibility is to ensure smooth operation of the breakfast area and kitchen, delivering quality meals with friendly service. Additionally, you will provide support at the front desk handling check-ins and check-outs, offering broad exposure across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, manage, and maintain the breakfast buffet according to Moxy standards
• Prepare simple breakfast items and replenish food and beverage stations during service
• Maintain cleanliness and order in kitchen and buffet areas following HACCP hygiene guidelines
• Engage warmly with guests during breakfast to provide an energetic start to their day
• Assist with food and beverage services beyond breakfast, including bar and snacks when necessary
• Support Front Office team during quieter breakfast times by handling guest check-ins and check-outs
• Welcome and farewell guests in a friendly, uncomplicated manner consistent with Moxy style
• Respond to basic guest inquiries and direct more complex requests to appropriate colleagues
• Use hotel management systems such as Opera for front desk tasks

Requirements

• Previous experience in food and beverage, breakfast service, or kitchen helpful; formal chef training not required
• Early riser enthusiastic about busy morning shifts
• Basic knowledge of food safety or willingness to learn HACCP standards
• Fluent in German and good command of English
• Flexibility to work early shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Team-oriented with a readiness to rotate between kitchen, buffet, and reception duties
• Embody the "#moxystyle" attitude: bold, engaging, and always going the extra mile
