Role Overview
As a Credit Assessor in New Zealand, you will be responsible for assessing lending applications against credit policy requirements while maintaining a strong standard of accuracy, compliance, and customer care. The role calls for balanced credit judgement, careful handling of each case, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Duties
- Evaluate loan applications in line with Pepper’s credit policy and process requirements, using sound judgement and close attention to detail.
- Gather, check, and organise all supporting documents so application files remain complete, accurate, and easy to retrieve.
- Provide responsive and professional service to internal teams and external parties, ensuring clear communication throughout the assessment process.

You should be a confident and commercially aware credit professional who is comfortable making well-balanced decisions that serve both the business and the customer.
