Job description
Overview
Belfort Group is seeking a Creative Specialist with a particular emphasis on motion design. The role is ideal for someone who can animate ideas into engaging brand stories while also contributing to broader design work such as visual identity systems, social media campaigns, and digital and print creative. The pace is varied and fast-moving, and you will be expected to take ownership of your work.
You will support both client accounts and internal agency projects, partnering with account managers, writers, and fellow creatives. If you enjoy exploring what is possible in After Effects and turning that curiosity into polished creative output, this position may be a strong fit.
What you will do
- Create a wide range of design assets for both client work and agency needs, including social graphics, ads, web and email visuals, digital banners, stationery, logos, brand identity elements, infographics, print collateral, and short-form video content.
- Develop motion graphics and animated pieces for digital and social channels from initial brief to final handoff.
- Handle video editing and incorporate animation, motion effects, and transitions.
- Collaborate with senior creative team members on ongoing client assignments.
- Assist in maintaining and refreshing the agency’s own brand assets.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions, creative reviews, and cross-team discussions.
- Build and sustain effective working relationships with clients and vendors over time.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has a background in graphic design, motion design, or a related discipline, or can demonstrate equivalent hands-on experience.
You should bring 1–2 years of design experience in an agency or in-house environment; strong internship or freelance experience will also be considered.
A portfolio is required and should demonstrate breadth across brand work, digital design, and motion or animation.
Applicants should be comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere.
The role calls for motion graphics ability beyond beginner level, along with a working understanding of marketing and content strategy.
You should also be proficient with Microsoft Office, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to stay organized while managing several projects on your own.
Strong time management and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are essential.
Application requirement
Candidates who do not include a portfolio link or upload a portfolio will not be considered.
