Role overview

Prime Video reaches audiences in more than 200 countries, and Amazon Studios develops films and series for that platform. The team is looking for a highly organized, self-driven Coordinator to support the Animated Series group in the US. This role calls for someone who can juggle several priorities at once, respond quickly when timelines shift, and approach complex challenges with practical, creative solutions.

What you will do

  • Partner closely with Animation Executives and provide day-to-day coordination support.
  • Run the submission and pitch workflow, including keeping submission records current and accurate.
  • Track development and current series materials, and prepare notes on pitches, treatments, and episodes that are submitted.
  • Work across internal teams such as marketing, business affairs, legal, PR, creative, production, and post-production, as well as with outside partners.
  • Create and update cross-functional trackers and interdepartmental grids.
  • Maintain the series asset database and help assemble PowerPoint decks and presentations.
  • Carry out research when needed and keep tabs on industry talent, overall deals, trends, and the competitive environment.
  • Provide shadowing support and assistance on creative initiatives.

What you need to bring

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting a studio or production company as an assistant, or 1 year of experience as a creative executive.
  • Prior assistant experience in an agency, studio, or production environment is preferred.
  • Strong planning, prioritization, time management, and organizational ability.
  • Solid understanding of entertainment business trends and key players, especially within animation, including animators, artists, and studios.
  • Excellent written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A positive, proactive approach with consistently sound judgment.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment that changes frequently.
  • Strong creative problem-solving ability.
