About the Role
DHL Express is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Courier to join their team at the Bristol Service Centre. This permanent, full-time, onsite position involves delivering and collecting shipments, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and representing the DHL brand with professionalism. Responsibilities
- Execute timely deliveries and collections according to customer expectations and service level agreements.
- Serve as a professional representative of DHL, consistently providing high-quality customer service.
- Cultivate strong customer relationships and identify avenues for business support.

- Strategize and prioritize daily routes to ensure all delivery and collection commitments are met punctually.

- Manage shipments of diverse sizes and weights, following established manual handling guidelines.
- Ensure precise completion of all required documentation and data capture processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role or delivery capacity; multi-drop delivery experience is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in route planning and a strong understanding of local geography.
- Excellent communication and effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Physical capability to meet the demands of the role, including handling varying shipment weights.
- Possession of a valid full UK driving licence.
- Readiness to obtain or current possession of a digital tachograph card.
- Demonstrated ability to manage workload independently, with a strong sense of dependability and organization.
- Capacity to perform well under pressure and adapt swiftly to shifting priorities.
- Effective interpersonal skills for building rapport with customers and colleagues.
