Teams at Lucid bring experience from a wide range of industries and are united by a focus on quality, innovation, and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the automotive space.

Role Summary

The Cost & Pricing Specialist for OEM spare parts is responsible for reviewing, controlling, and improving spare parts cost structures and pricing approaches in alignment with OEM requirements and business goals. The role is focused on maintaining pricing that is commercially competitive, policy-compliant, and profitable across dealer and customer-facing channels, while also supporting aftersales growth, warranty-related programs, and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review landed cost components for OEM spare parts, including purchase price, freight, customs, duties, warehousing, and handling.
  • Keep spare parts data accurate and up to date within ERP systems.
  • Spot cost deviations, margin exposure, and unusual variances, then propose corrective actions.
  • Contribute to cost-recovery efforts and ongoing improvements in parts profitability.
  • Build and maintain spare parts pricing in line with OEM pricing rules, regional requirements, and local market needs.
  • Work out dealer net pricing, recommended retail pricing, and customer price structures.
  • Apply price updates tied to cost changes, currency movement, and OEM bulletins.
  • Protect target margins while keeping prices competitive in the market.
  • Ensure pricing activities follow OEM governance, approval processes, and audit standards.
  • Prepare and manage pricing submissions, approvals, and supporting documents required by the OEM.
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to pricing and cost governance.
  • Maintain clear traceability and documentation for pricing decisions.
  • Support dealer networks, sales teams, and aftersales functions with pricing-related guidance.
  • Assess dealer margin structures and suggest pricing adjustments where needed.
  • Handle special pricing requests, promotional pricing, campaigns, and volume-based programs.
  • Respond to dealer pricing escalations while staying aligned with OEM policies.
  • Support pricing for recalls, service campaigns, warranty parts, and goodwill initiatives.
  • Coordinate impact assessments for new model launches and the introduction of new parts.
  • Ensure VOR, emergency, and critical spare parts are priced correctly.
  • Prepare recurring reports covering parts margin performance, cost movement, price revisions, and dealer margin analysis.
  • Track pricing KPIs and flag risks that could affect profitability or compliance.
  • Provide management with data-backed insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with Aftersales, Parts Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and IT teams.
  • Support system improvements related to pricing and cost management in ERP and WMS environments.
  • Take part in regional and OEM pricing reviews and broader pricing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in cost analysis, pricing, or financial analysis, ideally in automotive OEM spare parts or aftersales operations.
  • Good understanding of OEM pricing structures, dealer margin mechanics, and the spare parts lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, with SAP preferred.
  • Strong analytical ability and financial modeling capability.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of data accuracy.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build clear reports.
  • Knowledge of automotive aftermarket and spare parts business dynamics.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working under deadlines and within strict pricing governance frameworks.
  • Commercially minded with a strong focus on compliance.
