What the role involves

• Preparing quotations and cost estimates for projects, including follow-up calculations after order placement
• Collecting, checking and assessing all relevant costs, quantity structures and hour budgets
• Supporting the bid lead during contract and order negotiations
• Creating standardized price comparisons and cost summaries
• Analyzing and evaluating the overall cost structure

Candidate profile

• Completed degree in engineering, industrial engineering or business mathematics
• Initial professional experience is desirable, ideally in plant engineering or mechanical engineering
• Strong German and English skills at minimum B2 level
• Confident use of MS Office applications
• Team-oriented mindset, strong communication skills and a careful, structured way of working
• Willingness to travel as part of project execution

Additional information

The role is based in Chemnitz, Saxony, Germany. It is a full-time position with on-site presence.
