Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. The Corporate Solutions Consultant will work with business clients to identify their workforce development priorities, recommend customised training options, and manage the full sales process from lead generation through to deal closure. The role also involves running discovery conversations, building and presenting solution proposals or demos, coordinating with internal teams to tailor programmes, and ensuring successful delivery of corporate training engagements.

Key Duties

The consultant will manage strategic accounts, partner with instructors and operations staff to execute programmes smoothly, and track client satisfaction and learning outcomes. Day-to-day work includes keeping the sales pipeline updated, preparing reports, collecting feedback from the market, and helping improve Vertical Institute’s corporate training portfolio.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should bring strong consulting and pre-sales capability, including discovery, solution planning, and stakeholder communication. A track record in sales with ownership of the complete cycle and consistent target achievement is important. Project coordination skills are needed to manage schedules, resources, and deliverables for corporate learning programmes. The role also calls for sound analytical ability to interpret client information, market developments, and programme performance data. Excellent verbal and presentation skills are essential, especially when engaging senior decision-makers. Experience in corporate training, edtech, or professional services will be an advantage. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a similar field is preferred, though equivalent hands-on experience is also acceptable. Applicants must be comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced setting and adapting quickly to changing client requirements.
