Role overview
Staffordshire Police is seeking a Corporate Resource Unit Operative to support the force’s resource management activity. This role sits within a busy environment and helps maintain accurate information across duty planning, skills, training, and licence/accreditation records used for local and national deployment.

Compensation and contract
This is a permanent position at Grade E with a salary range of £28,071 to £32,613. There are 3 vacancies available.
What the role involves
The successful person will work with specialist Force IT platforms, including a Duty Management System and Chronicle, to help manage resourcing responsibilities and operational cover.
- Support a fast-moving department where duty responsibilities and resourcing needs are monitored and maintained through computerised systems.
- Help keep resource cover levels and deployments under review on an ongoing basis.
- Update and monitor specialist information, including skills, training records, and accreditations.
- Maintain resource and event information, including the allocation of overtime.
- Carry out analytical handling of data and information to support operational decision-making.

Residency and vetting
For RV Level roles, candidates must have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years. For MV Level roles, the requirement is 5 consecutive years of UK residency.
