Role summary
This position is for a driven and outcomes-focused placement professional who can deepen corporate relationships and create employment pathways for students. The role centers on employer outreach, placement coordination, internship sourcing, and ensuring that students are successfully connected with suitable opportunities through close collaboration with companies and internal teams.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and sustain productive relationships with companies, recruiters, and other industry contacts.
- Source placement, internship, and apprenticeship openings for students.
- Reach out regularly to HR teams, hiring managers, and business leaders to generate opportunities.
- Create and nurture strategic partnerships that improve student placement outcomes.
- Plan and coordinate campus hiring drives, online recruitment events, and job fairs.
- Arrange interviews, assessments, and other parts of the hiring process.
- Track potential openings and maintain placement-related records and reports.
- Support students with career planning, job search methods, and understanding workplace expectations.
- Run employability sessions, review resumes, and help students prepare for interviews.
- Keep students updated on openings and recruitment timelines.
- Monitor participation levels and placement results.
- Work with training, academic, and management teams to align placement efforts.
- Maintain organized employer and student databases.
Requirements
- Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Good ability to network and drive business development conversations.
- Prior exposure to placements or client-facing roles.
- Comfort in dealing with corporate stakeholders and senior-level professionals.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in placements, recruitment, talent acquisition, business development, or academic-industry coordination is preferred.
