Role overview

FedEx is seeking a strategic Internal Communications Advisor for the APAC region. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, employee engagement, and storytelling, and is designed for someone who can turn business priorities into communication plans that create clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes across a large, fast-moving organization.

More than a content-focused position, this is an advisory role that requires strong judgment, a business-first mindset, and the ability to shape communication approaches that support transformation.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and steer the APAC internal communications agenda so it supports regional business priorities and the wider transformation plan.
  • Create communication approaches that do more than raise awareness, instead helping employees understand, decide, and act in line with business direction.
  • Develop clear, engaging narratives that explain the purpose behind transformation and what it means for employees.
  • Use the intranet and broader content ecosystem, including video, as strategic tools to increase clarity, engagement, and action, informed by audience insight and performance data.
  • Plan and deliver meaningful engagement moments such as internal forums and leadership events that reinforce priorities and strengthen leadership alignment.
  • Work closely with teams across functions and countries to keep messaging consistent, amplified, and locally relevant throughout the region.

  • 12 or more years of experience in strategy, transformation, communications, or a related field, with evidence of influencing business results.
  • A strong ability to turn business priorities into actionable direction at scale.
  • Experience acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders in complex multinational settings.
  • A proven record of working through ambiguity and shaping narratives in a fast-paced environment.
  • A solid communications foundation with the ability to simplify complexity into clear and persuasive messaging.
  • Practical experience with internal communications platforms and ecosystems, including intranet strategy, content governance, and channel optimization.
  • Experience creating and running high-impact leadership engagements such as town halls, employee forums, and executive events that build alignment and engagement.
  • Exposure to multimedia storytelling and digital channels such as video, written content, and live events, with the ability to coordinate them for strong impact.
  • A strong analytical mindset and the ability to use data and insight to assess effectiveness and continuously improve programs.
