Role overview
In this position, you will serve as a versatile communications professional supporting a fast-moving corporate communications function for an international DAX-listed group. Your work will span both internal and external communication topics, with regular coordination across multiple stakeholders and channels.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, structure, and produce communication content for internal and external audiences, including media contacts, senior leadership, and employees, across channels such as websites, intranets, social media, and video.
- Research topics, draft posts and longer-form copy, and prepare materials for publication and distribution.
- Contribute to strategy communication projects by creating content briefs, thought leadership pieces, and speech drafts on complex and current topics in financial services.
- Support media monitoring activities, including social media tracking, data-driven media advisory work, media coverage analysis, and quality assurance.
- Assist specialist teams in their day-to-day communications tasks, act as backup when needed, and help improve communication measures and formats over time.
Requirements
- A completed degree in communication studies, economics with a preference for marketing or communications, political science with an empirical focus, or another comparable humanities-related degree.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in editorial work, ideally in communications, PR, or social media.
- Strong interest in modern digital corporate communications, including CMS, SEO, social media, and video.
- Enjoyment of conceptual and editorial work.
- Ability to help shape and launch innovative communication formats and channels.
- Quick understanding, strong organizational ability, and a structured working style.
- High level of accountability and reliability.
- Professional, client-oriented manner in dealings with stakeholders and clients.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English.
- Good command of MS Office, plus experience with content management systems and project management tools.
