Job description
Role overview
We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Accountant to join the Dubai finance function and support group entities including KOA, KAMS, and Proplab. The role is centered on real estate and community management operations, with a strong emphasis on precision, speed in reporting, and clear financial insight for leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full financial reporting cycle and make sure monthly closing is finished within the required deadlines.
- Deliver accurate management and board-level reports that help guide strategic and operational decisions.
- Take charge of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning, with particular attention to forecast accuracy.
- Manage receivables, collections, and working capital to support healthy liquidity.
- Consolidate financial results and reports across multiple entities and business units.
- Work closely with external auditors and maintain compliance with the relevant accounting standards.
- Create dashboards and performance reports that highlight business performance and financial trends.
Core competencies
- Ability to analyze financial data and function as a trusted partner to operations teams.
- Strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and corporate reporting practices.
- Effective cash flow management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Advanced Excel skills, with Power BI considered an added advantage.
- Comfort presenting financial updates to board members and senior leaders.
- Experience managing finance processes across several companies or entities.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 3 years of corporate accounting experience, ideally in property management or real estate.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE tax regulations.
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar tools, along with advanced MS Excel proficiency.
- Well-developed analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong English communication abilities.
- Capability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Valid driving license is mandatory.
