About the Company

The organization is developing Wynn Al Marjan Island, an upscale beachfront leisure destination in the United Arab Emirates, planned to welcome guests in 2027. The resort is being built on a scenic island in the Arabian Gulf, less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, and is designed to feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 dining and lounge venues, a theatre, a nightclub, and a five-star spa.

Role Overview

This position supports the Government Relations function by helping build and maintain productive relationships with local and international government bodies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting communication activities. The role also contributes to corporate social responsibility and public affairs efforts, helping strengthen the company’s reputation and alignment with government expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and coordinate queries from government departments, NGOs, and other outside stakeholders.
  • Support the planning and delivery of internal and external events, such as media visits, filming arrangements, and official delegations.
  • Prepare, rewrite, and translate press content and formal correspondence.
  • Keep precise records of government dealings and compliance-related documents.
  • Work with internal teams to make sure legal and administrative paperwork is submitted on time, including visas, labour cards, and Emirates ID documents.
  • Track changes in laws and regulations that may affect the business.
  • Assist with stakeholder engagement plans and public affairs activities.
  • Create briefing notes and reports for leadership meetings and discussions with government representatives.
  • Attend and represent the organization at government and industry events when needed.
  • Support compliance with local labour regulations and official procedures.
  • Stay informed about relevant policies, rules, and government requirements.
  • Help employees with questions about government-related processes and documentation.

Candidate Profile

The preferred applicant should have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Public Administration, or a closely related discipline, along with 1 to 3 years of experience in government relations or public policy. A solid understanding of UAE labour laws and government procedures is essential.
