Overview
Mary Brown's Chicken is hiring a cook to work at its Baie Verte, Newfoundland and Labrador location. This role is based at the worksite only, so the duties must be carried out in person with no remote option.
Language

Education
A secondary school graduation certificate is required.
Experience
Applicants should have between 1 year and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare full meals as well as individual menu items.
- Cook special dishes for customers who have food allergies or dietary intolerances.
- Check kitchen and food service areas to ensure they are in good condition.
- Show and support other staff in food preparation, cooking, and safe handling practices.
- Arrange orders for ingredients, supplies, and equipment as needed.
- Track inventory and keep accurate records for food, supplies, and equipment.
- Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and organized.
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen activities and operations.
