Role overview

Canada Life is hiring a permanent full-time Contracts & Compensation Specialist in London, Ontario. The role suits someone who is meticulous, self-driven, strong in analysis and problem solving, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.

This position focuses on making sure contractual and licensing requirements are followed when advisor contracts are processed and administered. It also involves keeping advisor contract records accurate for compensation purposes and delivering customer service through clear and precise interpretation and communication.

Key responsibilities

  • Collect the contract and licensing details needed to process advisor agreements.
  • Review advisor eligibility and complete contract paperwork within required timelines.
  • Handle advisor transfers and buy/sell transactions, including moving in-force policies according to process rules.
  • Maintain compliance with contractual and licensing obligations by monitoring and auditing data in Siebel Management and other systems.
  • Update, correct, and remove advisor contract information such as names, addresses, banking details, and other contract records.
  • Manage incoming correspondence quickly and accurately while providing strong customer service.
  • Answer questions and resolve unusual or complicated issues as they come up.
