Job description

Role overview

Hindmarsh is seeking two experienced Contract Administrators to support projects in Canberra across industrial, residential, and education sectors. In this role, you will work closely with project teams to help deliver important developments that contribute to the city's future.

Key responsibilities

  • Support procurement activities to help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and consistently.
  • Handle head contract and subcontract variations, keeping all changes well managed.
  • Oversee subcontractor and supplier claims in accordance with subcontract terms and HCA systems.
  • Carry out contract close-out duties, including defect follow-up, manual preparation, and tracking variations.
  • Assist in preparing monthly reports to monitor progress and support project objectives.

About you

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in project-based contract administration and financial administration within major building developments. You should be self-driven, comfortable working in a close team, and able to stay resilient when challenges arise.

Desired background

  • A completed degree in construction.
  • Between 3 and 6 years of commercial site experience.
  • Experience with CHEOPS, Aconex, or similar construction systems is preferred, although training will be provided.
